We'll ask for your vehicle registration number (we can then look up your tyre size) or you can give us the tyre size directly if you know it – for example 205/55R16. We'll check stock availability, give you an upfront price, and arrange a time that suits you. You give us your postcode and we come to you – whether that's your home, your workplace, or a roadside location.
On the day of your appointment, our technician arrives in a fully equipped van. The van carries a pneumatic tyre changing machine, a computerised wheel balancing unit, a torque wrench, tyre levers, bead sealer, and a stock of tyres in a wide range of popular sizes. The technician jacks the vehicle safely using a professional axle stand system, removes the wheel, strips the old tyre, fits the new one, balances it to eliminate vibration, and re-fits the wheel at the correct torque.
The whole process takes around 30 to 45 minutes per tyre. For a full set of four tyres, allow approximately two hours. The job is completed to exactly the same standard as a fitting bay in a traditional garage – the equipment we use is professional-grade and calibrated.
